Paul joined the firm in January 2013. Prior to his employment with the firm, Mr. Hamlin was a shareholder with the firm of Gainey and Hamlin, P.C. for 7 years. He has over four decades of public accounting firm experience working with international, national, regional, and local firms. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Barton College (formerly Atlantic Christian College) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, attended Louisiana State University for graduate level courses in accounting, and received his CPA certificate in 1975. He has worked with fortune 500 companies in NC but enjoys working one on one with small business owners. He currently serves on the North Carolina Association of CPA’s Tax Committee and is the Co-Chair of the International Tax Subcommittee assisting CPAs and their clients with International Tax Issues.
